MANITOBAH TRENDING SO STRONG

|
This newsletter was prompted by the amazing interest we have seen in our new Manitobah Footwear Shop. We are getting orders from all over Canada and are so excited to be involved with a company who's roots are in Canada. Above is a sexy version of a Manitobah boot. Below is their Vision. Not often you get a product that has been around for thousands of years and is still so astonishingly current and connected.

How it all began...As a young Métis entrepreneur, Sean McCormick spent much of his childhood in northern Manitoba where he started selling leather and fur while still in high school. In 1990, Sean established a trading post where Indigenous artisans traded handmade mukluks and moccasins for tanned leather, skins and furs. Because of a national growing demand for authentic Indigenous footwear, Sean, in 1996, created the business
plan that would become the Manitobah of today. And...here we are...fantastic footwear now.

We only have four pairs left in stock but I wanted you to be aware of how incredibly cute these mitts are. They will be reintroduced in the fall with a softer leather so they will be more flexible. Make sure to check later in the year.

2025 AD THAT SHOWS THE CLASSICS
|
When we got the original idea to set up a Canada House Mall in our three historical Canadian buildings, we had no idea how absolutely amazing it would end up being. We hoped. We had a vision. We dreamed. We are so thrilled it turned out better than we dreamed. The Manitobah and Tilley anchors have been super successful. Manitobah (which is 3 months old) is booming and Rob McIntosh has the only year round Manitobah shop from Thunder Bay in Ontario to the Atlantic Ocean. It
is so great to actually see and try these boots on, feel them on your feet and get major enjoyment when walking in them. We love Manitobah (they are not just for winter-they are a fashion statement) and are really pleased to add them to our 26,000 sq ft of unique products. You definitely have to plan a visit to Exit 814 of the 401. Rob McIntosh's Unique Shops are right in front of the exit so you can't miss us. Have a coffee in our Polar Bear Cafe. (We just did inventory and discovered
the Cinnamon Rolls sold the most, the Butter Tarts second and the Ginger Cookies not far behind. We just started Jim's Glengarry cookies -caramel- in the middle of the year so it might catch up next year.) We've expanded our seating for your enjoyment and would love you to come and tell us your story. The Manitobah and Tilley shops are open year round as well. And..thanks to everyone who has given us a review. I was reading the comments and if I'd never been here, I'd love to
come. Barb
