FATHER'S DAY

Now that June has arrived, Father's Day is just around the corner! The first Father's Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910 even before the modern zipper was invented. Nowadays Father's Day is always on the 3rd Sunday in June. This year, June 21, 2026. Cards are the item most given. So when I was trying to decide what to write in this Father's Day newsletter, I couldn't make up my mind whether to really spoil Dad with gifts over $20.00 or stick to cards and gifts under $20.00. Dad's almost always like whatever they get. They generally like you to be practical but under the surface of that solid exterior usually beats a giant heart. With that in mind, I upped the type of gift to the extra special quality. Don't forget that we have tons of little things that Dad would like if the allowance you saved for this doesn't add up to these items.
